I was tasked to create the packaging for Hodo's new Dips product line. This is a new category for them. I was involved in every step of the design process from research to print. I did a thorough first round of concepts that explored many different design layouts that were more retro-looking in nature as this was initially the direction Hodo requested. As rounds went on and with more input from stakeholders and other team departments, a more simple on-brand direction was chosen.

I work within the brand guidelines creating impactful layouts that meet FDA and USDA requirements. I work with project and marketing managers to create product packaging that meet stakeholder's approval. I also regularly work on existing packaging making updates and revisions as necessary.

Other packaging projects and clients. Although I did not create the design from scratch, I was a key player in the design execution and printing process. One part of this process entailed creating a pattern of hand-drawn healthy microbiomes and plants. The pattern was then used in different color palettes across the different products. Although revisions were made on this initial design, the core of the design is still based on these packaging mockups.
